Dear mountain lovers,

Welcome to the website of our family guest house Apartments DRIKETA, which offers a comfortable, cosy, and above all quiet, accommodation right at the "SOUTH" slope of the ski resort SEVERÁK.

We have completely reconstructed the former restaurant building Driketa and prepared for you the new, fully equipped apartments DRIKETA. In two double-bed and four four-bed suites, named after the highest peaks of the Jizera mountains, you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay. Two travel cots (incl. bed linen), high chairs, a step stool and a changing table for children are available for rent.

In the Jizera mountains, "driketas" or "pressing plants" ( the word comes from  German  "drücken", i.e. "to press") had a huge tradition of processing glass for the production of various beads, buttons etc. The original small houses - "driketas", usually with two tall chimneys, can still be seen across the area today. Unfortunately, nothing survived from our original "driketa" to modern times. However, we have retained the name "DRIKETA" which has been inseparably associated with this place for decades.

We believe that if you visit us, you will not be disappointed. The Jizera mountains offer a great number of experiences in every season, and are well-worth visiting.

In winter, our guest house provides younger children with a great opportunity for their first experience of downhill skiing in the area of Severák. Older children can try  snowboarding and of course cross-country skiing. We can recommend the latter to the whole family, as the trails are well-maintained, bearably undulating, and everything is just the right distance. If someone runs out of power, there is always a refreshing place nearby to rest and recover.

In summer, the whole family can go cycling. The distances between refreshments points are not too long, the terrain is easy to medium challenging and the surrounding nature has not lost its original character.

Spring and autumn are quiet in Jizera mountains, sometimes you meet only a few passers-by. Then you can enjoy the true beauty and amazing scenery of these mountains even more.
